As Jamaica is the 4th largest island nation of the Greater Antilles, its export not worth cost of imported fuel in this month. Import rate had well worth in Jamaica, import rate was J$142 billion in the last month, whereas export rate has been just J$97 billion. Statistical Institute of Jamaica import petroleum products that include the fuel used locally in the cars etc. or used by other automobile industries. It also includes the other factors like gas used to cook, fuel used in airplanes and fuel used by Jamaica Public Service Company to produce electricity. Technical issues are being prevented by Jamaica organization that has been so far away from the illegal activities. Without Petroleum products, lot of activities would be just stopped such as national water Com-mission could not operate directly to push the water up the hillsides and into homes and communities. Jamaica would come to a standstill, if the petroleum products wouldn’t be imported.


According to the estimation of the last year, total GDP rate of Jamaica was $24.75 billion and per capita was around $9,029. Jamaican Dollar (JMD) was being well worth by the estimation. Now a day, Jamaican Dollar has been affected by the export rate. Total deficits stands at US$3.2 billion this year.
